Letting it happen

For many years people reached out to me trying to build a bridge. I wouldn't let it happen, I put up walls. I had many survival skills that I had learned over the years. Today I'm unlearning these survival skills that didn't help me connect with others. I'm letting people get to know me as I also get to know myself.
