Dibs in Search of Self

I've been encouraged to read "Dibs in Search of Self" by a fascinating fellow named Jack. From what I know about Dibs I strongly identify with him. I too felt tremendous pressure as a child to achieve in school. Like Dibs I also was criticized frequently and had difficulty handling it. I am aware that there are always going to be critics and also that I can't let them keep me from doing what I feel is right. I can listen to constructive criticism and learn from it. And I can throw away any criticism that doesn't have merit. I trust my ability to follow my instincts and to not follow the crowd.
