Wrongly Accused

One of the most frightening things that ever happened to me was when I was falsely accused of wrongdoing by a person with power over me. This has got to be one of  the most horrible situations that can happen to someone. From what I have read it is not uncommon for an innocent person to be accused of wrongs that he or she has not done. A few days ago I read about Winston Churchill's mother's response to him telling her that he had been stabbed by a classmate with a penknife. I'm baffled by her response . She accused him of having provoked the attack. I hope and pray I never fall into the trap of blaming a victim. I want to be one of the people trying to get justice, one of the people seeking fairness, and trying to comfort the afflicted.
