Overheard while driving a Taxi

Long ago I was told that the best way to collect stories was to drive a taxi. I heard many tales (but not too many confessions) during my illustrious cabbie career in Somerville and Boston. Sometimes I hear some very wise sayings when I am least expecting to. I heard one fellow say to his buddy, "I never have heard the words Prime Rib and depression in the same sentence." I feel that when I am enjoying the wonderful things of life like a fine meal with a fine woman I am full of a zest for life! May I never lose this lust for life!
