Authors I am enjoying

As I read a little of Pam Munoz Ryan's popular kids' book "Esperanza Rising" I noticed some events I could easily identify with. I can't wait to read more! I am filled with enthusiasm for her work and for Christopher Paul Curtis' "The Watson's go to Birmingham"! So many books and so little time, I recently learned about Josefina Lopez's "Hungry Woman in Paris" which is more on the erotic and light side so it will go next to my pillow.
