Green

My buddy Neil liked the song "It's not easy being green". I can easily identify with this ditty just like Neil did. However,  Walt Whitman saw the color green as being the color of hope. I read "Leaves of Grass" when I need my spirit to be lifted.  I am so grateful to Walt Whitman for sharing his poetry with the world!
