Setting limits

I used to think there was no limit to how much work I could do in a day. My buddy Leo taught me how to set limits. We worked together as gardeners in a tomato patch. At 5pm he would tell me, "that's enough for today, Chucky." I would protest a little because I thought there was much more to do, but he would say "we did all we could and we'll be back tomorrow".

My pal Neil taught me a similar lesson. I would tell him that I wanted him to help me write my resume on a Sunday and he would decline. He never worked on Sundays. He showed me that there is more to life than just being a work drone.
