One way not to feel shitty

I read a list of ways to not feel shitty. One that I really liked was to make a "done" list instead of a "to do" list. What have I done today? I brushed my teeth. Made it to work on time. Talked to a friend on the phone. Mailed Christmas cards. Thanked a friend for his kindness. Looking at this list I see what a good day it has been.
