Fighting for his family

This incident happened many years ago when I worked at a parking garage but the memory remains deeply imprinted in my head. My coworker, Uyi, was working the overnight shift when a villain armed with a knife tried to convince him to relinquish the night's receipts. Uyi refused and put the would be robber to flight. The next day he told me, "I didn't give him the money because no one takes money from me unless they have a gun. But I would quit this job if I didn't need it to feed my children back in my country."
