The Pianist

After watching "The Pianist" I thought about a neighbor of mine in Malden who lived in Poland when the Nazis were killing Jews there. His name was Sevek Fishman and he survived by literally hiding underground. His friend hid him by burying him so that the Nazis couldn't find him. He spent so much time buried that he had to relearn how to walk.
