Trust God and lock your car doors

I'm working on getting better at trusting God. (And trusting God doesn't mean that I leave my car doors unlocked.) There has always been a Higher Power taking care of me through all kinds of frightening events. This Higher Power works and worked through people like my former advisor, a wise Jesuit priest. When I'm trusting God I have no reason to panic or be filled with anxiety.
