Here in the "Hub" there's a friendly little Winter tourney called the "Beanpot". It's sometimes played in blizzard conditions and blizzards never stop hockey nuts from getting to the match. Today I'm counting the days until the games begin!
When I played the game my father and I were known to drive through the jaws of fearsome storms to reach our goal. The rink!! I'm grateful to have these funny memories.
