Big is the Size of my Ego

I was sitting in a meeting listening to the chairperson talk excitedly about someone in the audience. My assumption was that he must be talking about me when he continued on with kind words and praise for this outstanding individual. He then said, "Charlie, come up and say a few words." I was preparing to make my way to the podium when I realized that my ego had once again tricked me. The chairperson was referring to another man named "Charlie" who was also sitting in the hall. Wow!! That was a lesson in humilty!! ha ha
