What do you care what people think?

Many times I have feared what people's opinions would be of me if I did certain things. I don't want to live my life in fear of what others think. For a while I was afraid to participate in any activity (like drama or art) that didn't seem very masculine to me.  I ask God to give me the courage to take some chances, try new things, meet new people, and live an authentic life.

Also I don't want to lose an opportunity to be original because of my fear of possible failure. I feel Michael Jordan was heroic when he left basketball to play baseball because he took a risk of failing.
