Great Place for a Writer

I realize that some of the places I've lived in haven't been great places to live but they were the kinds of places that are great for writers. Places where violence and crime were common, drugs like PCP aka "Crazy Eddie", alcohol, and codeine were easily found. I had many experiences in my taxi, Boston shelters, and in the barrooms of Boston and beyond that gave me plenty of picaresque adventures to write about.
