Una Leccion/Lesson from Barack

I learned something about President Obama in the book he wrote about his life. He says when he was under 11 years old he used to always tell white people that his mother was white. But once he reached 11 he stopped doing this. I am impressed very favorably with the way he recognized what he was doing and stopped it. I think that he saw that he had a little bit of insecurity and was able to correct it.

Cuando tenia menos de once anos el futuro presidente Obama le decia a la gente blanca, "Mi madre es blanca". Menciona en su libro que despues de tener once anos ya no tuvo la necesidad de decir a los blancos que su madre era blanca. Para mi es tan impresionante que  a la tierna edad de los once anos ya reconocia que habia que hacer un cambio y lo hizo!
