Winston Churchill

Reading about how Winston Churchill overcame many daunting challenges put me in a positive frame of mind today! So many of my heroes had terrible tragedies in their lives but refused to be defeated. I am grateful to have these examples of  triumphs against all odds. The book I was reading is "Character is Destiny" by John McCain and has the story of a Christian guard in the prison, "the Hanoi Hilton", where McCain was held and suffered horrible beatings. There was one kind guard who made his captivity a little better. You can read the book and be inspired too!
