I am content and comfortable in my own skin today. I'm not concerned about making everyone like me. If people like me that's fantastic! If someone doesn't like me, I will survive anyways. Glad to say I don't feel resentful today and feel like my heart brims with love.
I try to be genuine. I am inspired by the "Desiderata" which says, "Go placidly amidst the noise....and do not feign affection." I am working on being more honest in my dealings with people. My dear old teacher, a Jesuit at BC High by the name of Larry Corcoran taught us: "Be True, be true! To thine own self be true!".
